2017 FIBA Women’s AfroBasket: 3rd title for Nigeria

Nigeria won the 2017 FIBA Women’s AfroBasket title in Mali after downing Senegal 65-48 in the finals in Bamako.

Senegal, the best nation in the history of the competition with 11 titles, failed to match the Nigerian girls all through the match.

However, both finalists have qualified for 2018 FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup.

In the 3rd-place match, Mali beat Mozambique 75-52.
