The average salary for the Dutch Eredivisie players went up slightly to €266,000 a year in the 2014/15 season, according to website Voetbal International.
The players used to earn much higher until many clubs got into financial trouble. Average salary of a player between 2010 and 2014 fell from €355,000 to €263,000. However, the clubs do have a huge differences between what they pay the players.
